Samantha’s strengths include extensive experience in the networking market, strong media and analyst relations skills, key industry relationships, and in-depth knowledge about how trade publications cover news and how to package stories so they are well-received by specific target audiences.
With over 14 years of high tech public relations experience, she is devoted to protecting the reputation of each client she serves, keeping companies in the good graces of the editorial community. She specializes in getting companies in front of the right editors in a way that gets their story heard and respected. She has extensive experience placing stories, both staff-written and contributed, into trade publications.
Since 1991 she has run successful PR programs for companies large and small, including 3Com, Atreus Systems, EnterpriseLink, Extreme Networks, Lantronix, LightSand, Mapletree Networks, MAYAN Networks, Network Chemistry, Network World, NetWorld+Interop, Orchestream, Perfigo, RADGUARD, Riverhead Networks, ServGate Technologies, Shomiti, Socket Communications, SOFTBANK, StarQuest, Troika Networks, and UB Networks.
Prior to consulting, Samantha held PR management positions with SOFTBANK Forums (now part of Key3Media Events), UB Networks, and CrossComm Corporation. Samantha was heavily involved in CrossComm’s IPO, which was recognized as “the most successful IPO” of the year. Significant accomplishments include the Bell Ringer Award from the Publicity Club of New England; many front page stories; CNN and local news station coverage and interviews; numerous contributed articles placed in major trade publications; excellent rollout results; numerous “editors’ choice” and “best of” awards; and significant improvements in overall message delivery to industry analysts and editors for all clients.
